
An initial assessment revealed a community facing severe disadvantages, with residents living in extreme poverty. Lacking education and skills, they encountered significant obstacles to improving their situation, with minimal or no access to support or assistance.

The area known as Ghanteshwar 25 square yards, is a satellite location to Gujarat's Rajkot city. It houses 1500+ families. Of the total population of 10000+ in this locality, there are 7000+ children currently within this whereabout.
The residents primarily work in low-income professions, such as scrap dealing, vegetable vending, and various odd jobs. Many also rely on begging, either full-time or part-time, to make ends meet. This community faces significant social neglect, leaving their children with little hope for a better future.

First formal classroom was set-up with a makeshift roof and a designated walled area
August 2014
Two fully covered classrooms were set-up where students could study indoors with a weather protection
December 2016
Four more classrooms were constructed giving it the structure of a small school premises with 6 rooms

January 2018
To increase the families earning potential, four more rooms were constructed to launch a skill development program for parents and adult children.
